I think I just added you to my friends list. The "M" stands for "miscellaneous" and can mean someone added a work of yours to their favorites or added you to their friends list. You can click on the letter and you will be taken to a page with a list. Or you can click on the link that tells you how many messages you have and you will be taken to a page with a complete list (even the notes are there).
By the way, sorry I haven’t left many comments, but as you can see, I’m a bit long-winded when it comes to any type of text. I haven’t checked up on you much either as I have been exceptionally busy (hence the action of adding you to my friends list).
